↠ Dispatch 000 ↞
Dear <<First Name>>,

Thank you for being here and allowing this email to travel through cables, invisible waves, and spam filters to land on whatever screen you are reading this now. You probably receive a lot of emails daily and I hope that these dispatches will be one of those that you actually enjoy receiving. However, if one day you feel like this isn’t for you, the unsubscribe link will always be within reach and there’ll be no hard feelings. I promise.

You should know that there will be plenty of words in these dispatches; sometimes less than others, but always in paragraphs. This is not one of those emails about my placemaking work; you should subscribe to my studio’s bulletin for that. It is also most certainly not a channel for advertisements and sponsored posts; other platforms are already bombarding you with that. Instead, it is simply a dispatch of my thoughts about living our lives, the people we live with, and the cities we live in.

Away from the wild, dopamine-fuelled, public performance of social media, I hope this little moment in your inbox could be the place for a slower kind of connection with readers like you. Away from algorithm-served, digestible nuggets of processed content, I hope this can be the expanse for me to share with you the edges of fleeting ideas that I have grabbed and folded into paper planes to explore inner worlds, outer worlds, and digital ones. Away from quick reactions delivered at scroll-through speed; I hope to share my side projects and explorations, and extend an invitation for you to respond with loving feedback and your own experiences.

While the things you read in these dispatches may not always be useful or actionable, I hope it will always fill your heart with warmth. And if it opens up new connections and possibilities within yourself or with others, then the time I spend writing these would be worth it. In fact, if you find yourself enjoying these dispatches, do hit reply once in a while; I would love to read your words. And if you feel the urge to support these Dispatches, the best way is to invite other like-minded humans to subscribe and we can be friends.

This first dispatch shares its birthday with my wife who has been encouraging me to get back to writing, and the idea is for the next one to land at the next full moon; but who knows what life will bring. The only way to find out is to navigate through space and time. There is no plan.

Till the next dispatch; be well, be love, be you.
