FOCUS
FROM THE FOUNDER

As a child, I enjoyed peering through my kaleidoscope at the colorful fragments of glass as they shifted and formed beautiful mosaics with the subtle turn of the lens. What began as a jumbled mess of glass pieces turned into something incredible—once the focus shifted.

As 21st Century Christians, we live in multi-cultural communities where our diverse denominational viewpoints can often resemble those fragments. How do we come together to form something beautiful—something that makes sense of the fragmented pieces of the hopes, dreams, wishes, and beliefs we all carry?

Just a Little Girl

When eighteen-year-old Victoria dies in the ICU and encounters an angel that gives her a prophetic mandate from God, her insatiable quest for spiritual enlightenment begins. As compelling as any contemporary novel, Just a Little Girl is the debut memoir of an inspiring woman with keen perception and exceptional resilience. This dramatic true story is a roller-coaster ride through supernatural experience, denominational enlightenment, and a teenage marriage that not only survives the loss of a child but thrives through unbeatable odds.

Shining a fresh light on the theology of a Jewish Jesus, the author deftly weaves the history of the Christian faith from its genesis of the first century to the present-day Greco-Roman Christianity—all the while giving us an up close and personal glimpse of an extraordinary life. A devoted wife, mother of six, and grandmother of nineteen, Victoria refuses to succumb to age and limitations. Far from “just a little girl,” Victoria Sarvadi’s unconventional journey from teenage motherhood to Hebraic scholar and teacher will captivate and consume you from start to finish.

Your memoir is a compelling story of an amazing life…what do you want readers to take away from having read it?

I guess the bottom line would be that readers who are believers will develop a hunger to know more about the First Century teachings of Jesus. To know that all Christians can trace their faith back to the Jewish roots of Jesus’ faith, no matter their denomination choice. I pray that everyone who is led to read Just a Little Girl will come to believe that God has given them a unique purpose to advance His kingdom in some form or fashion—no matter where they come from or what line of work they are in. To “work” is to “worship” in Hebrew…so your job is your service to God. We can all make a difference when we discover that purpose and walk freely in it.
