Oregon State Investment Group

The Oregon State Investment Group is currently in the process of recruiting new Analysts for the school year. We are looking for qualified, professional students who are passionate about finance and investments. Please note, being a finance or accounting major is not a requirement.

The Oregon State Investment Group is a student-led organization that currently has roughly $2.0 million of Assets Under Management. Our Analysts are assigned to one of five sectors and value various companies using fundamental analysis and financial modeling. No previous experience with equity research is required; we provide training that will help you understand the techniques used.

Finance Club

The Oregon State Finance Club's first meeting is Tuesday September 27th from 6 PM - 7 PM in Austin 222. The OSFC is open to ALL students, and all students interested in joining the club are invited to attend. Our meeting will consist of an introduction to the club, announcements, an activity, and we will also be providing FREE PIZZA! 

The OSFC is all about giving you the opportunities to learn more about finance, explore career specializations within the field, meet with industry professionals, and become more money savvy. Benefits of membership include opportunities to travel with the club, perfecting your resume, volunteering within the community, and networking with students who share a similar interest in finance. Through the experience, you will enhance your employability and meet potential future employers - always important in today's economy!

If you cannot attend the first meeting, rest assured you're welcome to come to the next meeting, Tuesday 10/4 from 6 - 7 PM in Austin 222.

Are you looking for two more credits? Do you want to take control of your finances this summer or fall? Enroll in BA140, Financial Literacy for College Life, and learn the fundamentals of personal finance. Financial Literacy is offered in summer (CRN 74122) and fall term (CRN 18099) and is open to all majors.

Learn How to Prepare for Graduate School. In this session you will learn what it means to earn an MBA, as well as how to prepare to apply for graduate business school, including tips on taking the GMAT exam.
