LifeBridgers are all about connecting and community. If I have learned one thing about expats it's that they are quick to make friends. I was having a conversation with someone we had just met and she made the comment "you have to take the friends you can get". The expat life can be a lonely life, so whether just arriving in Panama or even those here for awhile, expats are quick to be open and make the most of time with other people.
Hey, we all want friends and people to do stuff with and in general, the expat community is just really open about that. In light of this, most Sundays a groups enjoys lunch together in the mall. This past Sunday we ate at the new Olive Garden (you may think Olive Garden is old news, but here, the American chain just opened and it's all the rage).
