Who is our neighbor?

One of our values at LifeBridge is generosity. This month we extended our generosity to our neighbors. So, who is our neighbor? Each week (when we are not in the midst of a pandemic) when we arrive at the movie theater there are employees there to let us in, clean and maintain the space where we typically meet each Sunday. With the mall, movie theater (and everything else) being closed those employees now are on a suspended contract or have no income. This week we provided gift cards to these employees of the movie theater so that they can provide groceries for their families. We will continue to provide funds in the coming months, as there are almost 100 employees. We are grateful to be able to come along side of these people, who we would typically see weekly, during this time.
Life in the tropics means preaching in the rain.

Why I Believe

We are in the midst of a mid-week series called Why I Believe: LifeBridge Testimonies. Each week we hear from a different LifeBridger and hear how they came to Christ and how the Lord has worked in their lives. It's been an encouraging time and as always, very diverse. Last week Ely shared. Ely is an Indonesian woman who works at the Indonesian Embassy embassy here in Panama. Her story was impactful as she shared about growing up as a Christian in a Muslim country and what's like serving her country as a diplomat.

This week we hear from Ricardo, originally from Mexico, but has lived all over the world working in the shipping industry. Our people come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences and it's incredible to hear each story and how God worked in their lives and how he continues to work during their time in Panama.

Praise & Prayer

We deeply appreciate your prayers for us and LifeBridge.

  • Praise! We have had several new people start attending. As a church that is typically very transient we have missed this aspect of the church. Grateful to have newcomers.
  • Pray for our Leadership team as we make decisions for when we gather again. As in most places, it's one step forward and two steps back. We will continue to meet virtually with the hopes of gathering in small groups when our full quarantine is lifted.
Thank you for your prayers and support!
