Owner Marni Redmond along with Designers Jennifer Kurtz and Sierra Trott will be attending Coverings 2017, April 4-7 in Orlando, Florida. Coverings is the premier international trade fair and expo dedicated exclusively to showcasing the newest and greatest in tile and stone. Coverings features over 9 miles of the latest styles and trends in the tile and stone industry, with over 1100 exhibitors from over 40 countries. Coverings also features an outstanding lineup of over 70 education sessions taught by leaders in the Tile and Stone Industry.

Black & White
The great thing about mixing black and white tiles together is that it instantly establishes a dramatic and striking contrast palette. You can accessorize with black and white for a modern, monochromatic look or add earthy textures and details like wood and plants to add warmth, add glamour by adding metallic appliances, fixtures, and accessories, or add a bold color to the mix to transform your room into a dynamic and engaging space. With black and white tiles as your backdrop, the possibilities are endless.

Tileable Linear Drains
Another big trend that we are noticing a lot of this year, is the use of Tileable Linear Drains. They allow for floors to be sloped in one direction toward the drain, permitting the use of large format tile. It can be placed anywhere in the shower making it more versatile than center drains. This also helps in the creation of a curbless entry into the shower, enabling easy wheel chair access, making them ADA compliant. They are available in a variety of lengths and can accommodate all thicknesses of tile, allowing for the same floor tile that is used in the bathroom to be installed in the linear drain, enabling it to blend in with the rest of the floor. The Tileable drain is also available in a 4”x4”.

Monotone Shapes
Tile patterns can enhance the look, feel, and atmosphere of any room. There are a lot of options when you choose to add a patterned tile to a space, but not every time would you want to choose something that also introduces multiple colors to an existing color palette. With monotone shaped tiles, you can add plenty of visual stimulation to a space, without mixing in multiple colors.
