2017 was a busy year at Made. We launched new work for old favourites like Roundhouse, Royal Albert Hall, Sadler’s Wells, LA Phil and Boston's Museum of Science. We launched new sites for Dr. Phillips Center92nd Street Y, Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall and Winspear Centre. We also welcomed new clients aboard, including Wales Millennium Centre, Royal Opera House, and Roundabout Theatre Company.

There were comings and goings in the team too. We welcomed James Baggaley as Strategy Director in July. Shay crossed the atlantic to run CTO tings from New York. Ben Freeman joined as our new Head of Production in Birmingham last month.

We got a few air miles under our belt too. This year Made-folk showed up to conferences in New Orleans, Melbourne, Lisbon, Cleveland, Belfast, Manchester, San Diego, Cardiff, Malta and Memphis. But if that wasn’t enough, we moved into new offices in London and in Brooklyn.

To cap-off 2017 - we’ve got the last instalment in the Made Manifesto. Don’t worry, it’s a short read. We’ve also got the long-trailed 92Y case study, not so short, but worth your time we promise. We’re off now for a well earned rest. Standard emergency support procedures are in place, and we’ll have a skeleton crew in between Christmas and New Year, but remember. Friends don’t ask friends to deploy at Christmas.

See you on the other side,

  Jake Grimley
