We are deeply concerned about our brothers and sisters in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  On Monday, December 19, President Joseph Kabila’s second and final term in office was to end with the inauguration of a democratically elected successor.   He is unlikely to step down.  Congolese activists are ready to step up and take to the streets. Support Democracy!
Telema (meaning "stand up!" in Lingala) is a large youth movement in Congo organizing on social media.  Follow them at  Donate to their cause.  Pray for peace.  Understand the context - read a recent article from Human Rights Watch.  Stay informed.  

Featured Storyteller
Pastor Kubisa Sosthene Muzenende will be on the program for Minnesota's World Storytelling Day 2017.  He is the founder and director of Let Africa Live.  The theme is TRANSFORMATION.  Save the date:  Tues., March 21, 7pm at  Landmark Center, St. Paul, MN.
