Hikmat Kashouh grew up during the 16-year Lebanese civil war, all too familiar with the tragic realities of conflict, Syrian occupation, and displacement. His life changed forever when his father’s friend led him to Jesus. Hikmat was called to ministry and studied theology, earning a PhD in Textual Criticism at Birmingham University, UK.
