March 2019
Follow us on Facebook for up to the minute updates

AMSA Global Health is the peak representative body for the global health interests of you - the 17,000+ medical students Australia-wide. Global health is becoming increasingly topical so we equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute tangible action.

Whether it’s bringing medical students together for a weekend of upskilling, networking and training workshops at our Global Health Forums, or taking a deep dive on a pertinent issue at AMSA Global Health Intensive, demand for what AMSA Global Health offers has never been higher.

We also engage in successful advocacy in the areas of refugee health, climate change, sexual, reproductive health and non-communicable diseases. Moreover, we represent Australia on the international stage with delegations regularly sent to the International Federation of Medical Students’ Association, the United Nations and the World Health Organisation’s high level meetings.

As always, contact myself or my team anytime if you have any questions or passion projects.
Whatever your interest, you’ll find a home in AMSA Global Health.  Welcome.

Hugs,
Helena Qian
Chair, AMSA Global Health
