HealthTech News

Keeping Britain at the forefront of HealthTech

The Secretary of State for health and social care spoke at the future of Healthcare Investor Forum recently about the importance of embracing innovation in healthcare and opening up the health service to innovators. One example is the official launch of a new collaboration between the NHS and Amazon, pairing expert medical advice with Amazon's market-leading Alexa device so people can receive accurate, reliable and safe information.
Supporting vulnerable patients

CVS Health is rolling out a network to provide its most vulnerable patients with access to local support for their social care needs. It will collaborate with social care coordinator platform provider, Unite Us, to launch a platform that will allow Medicaid and dual-eligible beneficiaries covered through its insurance arm, Aetna, to more easily find and access help from social care providers within their communities.
