Lane Moore is a comedian, actor, writer, and musician. She is currently touring the country with her hit live comedy show Tinder Live (where she actually swipes on & chats with her Tinder matches while the audience weighs in—I laughed so hard). She's also the frontperson in It Was Romance, which BUST Magazine named "The Best Band of 2015," and has written for The New Yorker's Shouts & Murmurs column, The Onion, McSweeney's, Cosmopolitan, GQ, and can be seen on season 5 of HBO's GIRLS. She lives in Brooklyn and is obsessed with Stevie Nicks and the queen of Tejano music, Selena.

Some things Lane loves:
"Please Like Me. I've already watched all 5 seasons of this Australian comedy nearly 2x over in the last two weeks. It's like the best combination of millennial storylines, while also having awesome storylines about people over 40, stories about mental illness, and LGBTQ issues, and it's so funny. It's brilliant and I can't stop talking about it. Also Web Of Lies. I tape like 95% of all ID shows, but this one is my favorite. It's all about horrible crimes that were facilitated by social media."

"I went to Back To Eden Bakery every single day when I was in Portland on tour with Tinder Live. Their whole bakery is vegan and gluten free but it's so next level it's insane. I ate incredibly well there every day and was basically squealing with how many options I had because most places that have vegan/GF stuff are like, "Here's a chocolate chip cookie and nothing else," and you're like, "OK fine, but fuck you." When you have food allergies, it's incredible to be able to have more options than the same cookie every time."
"Bai Molokai Coconut drink. I am obsessed with this because it tastes like a fruity cocktail you'd drink on a beach somewhere, but I don't really care about drinking and I'm not at the beach. I've turned as many people on to it as possible, so I'm hoping they attribute their recent sales uptick to me telling everyone to drink it and then send me a lot of it because I am spending way too much money on it, which is what it is."
"Flower Power Herbs & Roots. When I'm on tour the first places I go are places that sell herbs and crystals and other hippie nonsense. This is my hometown store and it's just full of the most positive, helpful people ever and a wall of herbs in mason jars as far as the eye can see. It's one of my favorite places in the city."

As a person who puts out a newsletter, I'm often asked which newsletters I personally subscribe to. I get a LOT, but here are some that I always open:
  • Of a Kind's weekly 10 Things, where founders Erica and Claire introduce you to cool, quirky new discoveries, from designers to cooking methods to apps.
  • Fortune magazine's The Broadsheet, which breaks down the top women-focused business news of the day in a voicey way.
  • Clover Letter. a daily news digest that happens to be for teens but can be enjoyed by anyone who wants to stay on top of pop culture trends (and get a glimpse inside the life of teen girls).
  • Media Redef, which reliably curates the most interesting articles about media, pop culture and technology from around the web.
  • Badass Babes from my friend (and new author) Ann Shoket. Her inspiring weekly missive asks powerful women to divulge things like their most challenging moments at work.
And now a question for YOU! Write me back and let me know who you'd want to see featured on future Undrrated editions! It can be any creatives you want to know more about. Can't wait to hear from ya. —Marina
