Dear SNADers,

Happy New Year to our incredible SFSNAD community. New Year, New SFSAND! We have an amazing array of new courses and new (to you!) educators, new programs and new exhibits, new opportunities to engage and new ways to share your love of stitching.

New Year, New Baby! We will kick off 2023 with Lucy's return after being on parental leave! Following that exciting news, will be a new exhibit by Liz Harvey. Opening on January 20, there will also be a Member Reception and Community Project on Saturday February 11.

Next, we will host a Volunteer Thank You Event on February 15 - Details will follow but please mark your calendar so you can hear us gush over our amazing and dedicated volunteers!

On the heels of that, on April 29 we will host an Antiques Roadshow style event called Textile Tell All where your heirloom or contemporary textile and embroidery pieces can be accessed by experts. Details are being worked out now but this will be a truly fantastic event!

And speaking of fantastic events, the Fantastic Fiber Fair will be returning in December, this time with a new twist….the addition of a Fashion focus. As I said earlier: New Year, New SFSNAD - and we are so glad you will be along with us for the ride! And, as always, thanks for stitching with us!

Lisa Coscino
Executive Director (she/her)
