Are you ready for CBA34 Week One?!?


The Wait is OVER! The first set of CBA34 events start TODAY! We'll be hosting a month of can't-miss events, including our gallery exhibit, open now through July 31st.

Whether you celebrate black art through reading, dancing, singing, or being an active audience member, we've got you covered! We clearly have a lot to celebrate this July, so here's the run down of our first week of events, and remember, it's all FREE! 
SELF DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN SERIES:
"BRAND YOUR COOL" PANEL

FRIDAY, JULY 6TH @ 7—9PM

Our Self-Development & Design Series will help you learn how to slay online, through your personal style!!

Join us on Friday, July 6th from 7pm to 9pm for Brand Your Cool, a panel with women self-starters. Learn from Black women powerhouses who have used social media to build their business and their brands! Featuring Tanisha Dunham, Stephanie Keene, Melissa Simpson and Danielle P. Jeter, and moderated by Nasya Gay, this FREE event will be followed by a fun reception! Reserve your spot HERE

The centerpiece of the 34th Celebration of Black Arts Festival is the month-long exhibition "Do You Hear What I See?", featuring rarely seen photographs of black music icons from by photographer Ron St. Clair.

The showcase will include several candid photos of some of the most influential musicians in the 20th century, including Berry Gordon, Duke Ellington, Harry Belafonte, Patti LaBelle, just to name a few; and each piece will be available to purchase throughout the duration of the exhibition.
