This Week's Guest Pastor

Welcome Rosa Ross!
Rosa thinks faith is a collage of different conversations: whispered words of comfort, shouts of social justice, discussions about what it means to be, and sometimes even jokes about the absurdity of God's beautiful creation. As a trans woman, she is particularly passionate about the process of full, unyielding inclusion of all people in this holy collage. Before coming to the MDiv program at Princeton Theological Seminary, Rosa grew up in Huntington, West Virginia and studied philosophy, religious studies, and classical studies at Marshall University where she is now an adjunct professor (teaching online). She can be spotted around town reading books, eating food, and walking her dog - a pug named Pugg

Please remember to pick up items for personal hygiene for persons who really need them when you go to the store. Things like soap, lotion, toothpaste, diapers, disposable face masks, etc., can make a real difference in the lives of people who can’t afford them. McCaffrey’s gift cards also are welcome and would enable people to choose items that they need themselves. There are 200 families in the Princeton area who are served by the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry. Our collection is in the foyer of the church. Donations are being received through March 14th. Thank you for your generosity!
If you would be willing to help with taking the donations to the Pantry collection point, please contact Sally, Carol, or Pastor Denise.

Visualizing the Parables: A Multimedia Presentation
Hosted by Charles McCullough
Join our host, Charles McCullough, for a journey into the art of sculpture.  The presentation will utilize Charles’ sculptures based upon the parables accompanied by the music from “The Mission” by E. Mariconi.  This beautiful and moving experience will be presented in the fireplace room.  Sit back, relax, and take in this amazing artwork!

The Next one will be March 23rd...

Sala is a monthly fellowship which is hosted by a member who shares their “knowing” with the group or coordinates an event for a most special evening. Refreshments are served followed by a guided meditation and then an activity or presentation/group discussion chosen by the host. Sala is an all inclusive, safe, sober, and beautiful space to feed one’s soul!
Please join us for the next DVD night
Friday, March 24th

Viewing The Hundred Foot Journey
The Hundred-Foot Journey is about how the hundred-foot distance between a new Indian kitchen and a traditional French one can represent the gulf between different cultures.

Refreshments served. See you then!
Book Group
Our next book for reading and discussion will be the novel Anxious People, by Fredrik Backman, who also wrote A Man Called Ove.

The book has also been adapted to television as a six part miniseries (30 minutes each), available now on Netflix streaming.

We will meet by Zoom on Saturday, March 25th, at 7:00PM.

We hope to see many of you then.

Our Bible study meets following the 10 AM services
(2nd, 4th, & 5th Sundays)

Bible Study will begin about 10-15 minutes after the end of worship and will conclude by 12:15. It is discussion-oriented, and we welcome the input and insights of all participants.

Our discussion is based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the Sunday following the one we meet for the Bible Study.

John 9:1-41
1 Samuel 16:1-13
Ephesians 5:8-14
We will next meet on March 12th and study the lectionary for March 19.

Peace, Bob
