Subiaco Activity Centre Plan

There is still time to have your say on the future of the town centre. We’ve been working with the community to prepare the draft Subiaco Activity Centre Plan to provide a vision and long term planning framework for the future development of the town centre.
The plan includes guidelines for land use, population and residential density, urban form, heritage and transport to support the economic and social vitality of the town centre as an attractive destination to live, work and shop.
We want your feedback, so let us know your thoughts on the plan by 5pm on Friday 8 July on our online engagement hub Have your say Subiaco

Water Corporation works: Rokeby Road
lane closure

From Monday 18 July, the Water Corporation will be undertaking works on the western side of Rokeby Road between Roberts and Bagot roads to improve the security and reliability of Subiaco’s water supply.
The Water Corporation will be renewing the water main via a trench, with the first section of works expected to take six to eight weeks to complete. This means that the western half of Rokeby Road will be closed (including the median strip, entire northbound lane and some of the adjacent footpath) for the safety of pedestrians, drivers and workers.

2016–17 budget

The city’s 2016-17 budget is expected to be adopted at a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday 19 July at 5.30pm at the city's Administration Centre.
Council is considering all options to keep its rate rise as minimal as possible with $4 million already cut from the 2016-17 draft budget and Council looking at a number of ways to address a $1.3 million shortfall that is a direct result of the City of Perth Act.
Rates notices will be issued after the city’s annual budget has been adopted by Council.
More information about the 2016–17 budget will be available on our website at this time.

The ceremony and bush tucker morning tea concluded the city’s 2016 Kaya Subiaco (Hello Subiaco) celebrations which aimed to raise awareness of the traditions and history of Nyungah people through educational events, music and art over several months.
