MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE CITY OF SUBIACO
'Tis the season to be jolly and what better place to celebrate than Subiaco.

This year the City received a visit from a special visitor who took time out of their busy schedule to spread Christmas cheer.

In addition, there are a number of festive activities and activations taking place right now. Visit See Subiaco on social media to discover how you can celebrate the season in Subiaco.

LISTENING TO BUSINESS CAMPAIGN
The City's Listening to Business (L2B) campaign continues in 2023 with a number of events taking place that encourage local businesses to connect directly with City representatives and give us their feedback.

FREE EXPERIENTIAL ACCESS AUDITS
Every business/organisation knows the importance of good customer service, but what about those customers that don’t or can’t even make it through your front door?

As part of International Day of People with Disability 2022 the City of Subiaco, in partnership with Spinal Life Australia, are offering businesses the opportunity to receive a complimentary experiential access audit.

Successful businesses will receive:
  • An access audit free of cost;
  • A report outlining improvements that can be made based on identified barriers provided to the business;
  • In person meeting following the audit to provide guidance regarding implementing small changes;
  • Accessibility data will be added to Accessible Australia app accessed by people with disability when deciding on accessible destinations to visit.

WHAT'S ON IN SUBI

SUNSET @ SUBI
The popular sunset@subi concert series is back this summer, with a variety of free, outdoor live music performances lined up.

Kicking off with a special Christmas Concert including an appearance from Father Christmas himself, the concerts will run throughout summer and include a diverse range of musical acts including The Australian Beatles and a Salsa Orchestra.

You can see dates and details here.

Admission is free, so grab your blanket, bring along a picnic and we’ll see you there.

Auslan interpreters will be present at all concerts.
