Submit your planning application online

Did you know that you can now submit your planning and building applications online?
By accepting electronic applications, we are able to offer a faster, more streamlined lodgement process. As well as providing quicker determination times, the new online system is also better for the environment.
Not online?
If you're not online, don’t worry – we still accept hard-copy planning and building applications, but we’re looking at phasing them out over time and we’ll notify you well before any transition.
How to submit your online application

Vote now: Mabel Talbot play space

We’re replacing the play space at Mabel Talbot Reserve and it’s time to vote for your favourite of three designs, each of which has been developed using your feedback.

Voting is easy:
  1. Go to Have Your Say Subiaco
  2. Select your favourite design
  3. Click submit
The design that receives the most votes will be selected. Voting closes at 12pm on Friday 17 February.

Three-hour free parking update

In December, we launched a twelve month trial of three-hour free parking in our Rowland Street car park to make it easier for you to enjoy all that Subiaco has to offer.
In time for the start of the school year, and to ensure we provide balanced parking options, we’ve amended the car park's operating hours. To accommodate for the school drop-off and pick-up, operating hours now begin at 9.30am, instead of 8am.

The change means that parents can drop their kids off in the morning without needing to display a ticket, and pick them up in the afternoon, this time displaying a three-hour free ticket or activating an EasyPark session.
For full details on our car parks visit our website.

Welcome to our newest Australian citizens

Congratulations to our newest Australian citizens, who participated in a citizenship ceremony held in Rankin Gardens on Australia Day last Thursday.
We had the pleasure of celebrating sixty-five new citizens in the City of Subiaco, aged between eight and seventy-three, from twenty-seven different countries around the world.

Calling all artists

We’re on the hunt for experienced artists, or artistic teams, for a new artwork that complements the Rokeby Road streetscape upgrade. Up to $32,000 is available for the project, intended to enliven the streetscape through intervention, embellishment or interaction with passers-by.
