This summer our family was able to finally take our long awaited trip to Germany and Austria. We originally, like many, planned to go in 2020.
Over the past two years, we have planned, unplanned, re-planned and finally executed what was beyond my greatest hopes and dreams for an amazing experience. This was my first time travelling to Europe.
During our trip, we went to the PassionsSpiele in Oberammergau, Germany. Before we attended this historic play, we visited the St. Stephens Cathedral in Vienna, Austria. The Cathedral was built in 1137, has suffered lots of changes, fires and wars over the years, yet it's still standing solid as the travertine marble that holds it together.
The St. Stephen's bells chimed during Pentecost Sunday in Vienna, Austria.
The ceiling of the cathedral appears to mirror itself through the Romanesque / Gothic design.

In the Northern Aisle of the Nave the pulpit is full of metaphorical designs and scenes. The railing of the staircase has tracery circles, which are alternately filled with three or four snows. The three-part whirl clockwise, the four-part in the opposite direction.
These images and thousands more will be added to the website soon! Until then, I hope you are able to experience all this world has to offer, even if it's in your own backyard.
