Nursery Sneak Peak

You are invited to a “Sneak Peek” of our planned nursery TODAY after the 9:30 a.m. service. Jan Gauthier and Jacque Alvernaz have put together a plan to make our nursery more welcoming to our youngest members and their parents. The Vestry has approved some money to get them started, but we need your participation and monetary donations to complete this plan. You can make checks out to St. James with “nursery update” in the memo line. Please come to see the plans and find out how you can be involved. We’ll even have snacks for you!

Backpack Drive

The Outreach Office is asking for donations of backpacks and school supplies for kids in need, returning to school! If you are shopping and are able to pick-up any supplies, please bring them to the church office and we'll gladly distribute them. Thank you!

Mind the Gap!

Many thanks to those who are meeting and exceeding their pledge goals for 2016! We also appreciate our hardworking staff for keeping our operating expenses down. Still, our Year-to-Date pledge balance remains $14,000 below our budgeted annual projections. Recalling that our 2016 budget included a stretch goal of $17,000, we need to reach for that goal together! With an average Sunday attendance of over 150 people right now, if each and every person who attends Sunday service was to contribute an additional $114 this year, we could reach that goal. Please, consider helping us Mind the Gap!

New Movie Series: Who Am I, Really?

Movies for Kids of all ages. Bring a snack to share and a blanket or chair. Movies start at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall and conclude with a discussion.

October 14th: A boy finds his place as a guardian. (PG)
November 11th: A panda finds his father and his true calling. (PG)
