NAIRYAN VOCAL ENSEMBLE
In 2018, the ensemble began translating and performing songs in sign language. The Nairyan Vocal Ensemble is the only ensemble in the region that performs acapella and sign language simultaneously, which makes their music available for people with hearing difficulties. By 2019, the ensemble had translated 32 songs by Armenian composers into sign language.
The artistic director of the Nairyan Vocal Ensemble is Naira Mughdusyan and the other singers are Yelena Azaryan, Tina Asatryan, and Anna Minasyan.

ANELGA HAJJAR'S AWARD-WINNING PLAY AT THE EDGE THEATRE.

Anelga Hajjar is an emerging actor and playwright from Northwestern University. Hailing from an Armenian-Lebanese household in Massachusetts, her award-winning play, Janitor's Baby, explores the intricacies of the diaspora experience and is set to have a staged reading at The Edge Theatre.
SYNOPSIS:
Molly McMannon graduated top of her class at Princeton University and also climbed Mt. Everest, but today she faces her most epic challenge yet: raising a baby. Not just any baby, an Armenian baby. In Anelga Hajjar's musical seminar, JANITOR'S BABY, this business titan pits her stellar qualifications against her family's criticisms as she struggles to achieve motherhood.
