EVENT HELD IN APRIL
I. The "I Seminar on Crowdsourcing - Opportunities and Challenges" was held on April 27 with the objective of discussing how the use of crowdsourcing as a business model can benefit the Brazilian society.

II. The "III Seminar on Intellectual Propriety" was held at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo, on May 24th, with a focus on copyright in the virtual environment and the recent developments of artificial intelligence, by means of presentation of experiences and examples.

CEST REPRESENTED IN AN EVENT

On May 25, CEST was represented in the event Managing Conflicts in the Digital Age: Technology at the Service of Mediation by our collaborator, engineer Mário Magalhães, from the School of Engineering, EP-USP.

PUBLICATIONS

The bulletin “Tax Incentives towards the Generation of Technology in Brazil  and the Reform of the Good Law: a window is being closed” by Aristóteles Moreira Filho, Master Degree in Tax Law from PUC-SP; Doctorate student in Law at USP, and a researcher at CEST, has just been launched.

The text makes general comments on the importance of changing the Brazilian tax incentives scheme (Reform of the Good Law)
and encourages innovation.
