Hello friends,

I love the words found in Acts 2:17-18:

In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
    Your young will see visions.
    Your elders will dream dreams.
Even upon my servants, men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,

        and they will prophesy.

I love those words because they speak of the inclusive act of God that I confess my belief in. The Holy Spirit is not contained to one time, place or people. But She is present with ALL people and all people get to share in the gifts of the Spirit. It’s an exciting opportunity. As church, I believe that we need to continue to take those words to heart as we lift up the giftedness of all God’s children.

Pentecost is a day of celebration. A day where the early church was baptized with the Holy Spirit. A day where the church was commissioned to be the hands and feet of Christ to the entire world.  May we praise the fact that God calls to us no matter our status, wealth, ethnicity, gender, sexuality or age.

Peace,
Rev. Eric

Alone and Together Worship.

If you could see the world as perfect, what is one important thing you would see that you don’t see in our world today?

How can we be more open to God working in our lives in whatever way God chooses – be it like a roaring wind or a gentle breeze?

While it is not the same as physically being together, God has shown us that the church is so much more than a building on a corner.  It is the people of God, praying for one another, gathering through technology, and reflecting the presence of Jesus in our communities. The work of the congregation continues and your offerings and givings help us do the work of the church. You may make an online offering on our website or you may call the office for other options including automatic withdrawals or mailed givings. Thank you for your support in this time and always.
