If I look outside, the world looks the same: beautiful blue sky, spring showing up in daffodils and buds, and a sense of renewal. But as we know for the moment, nothing is the same—every day brings a new normal.
Here is our today's normal:
Beginning tomorrow (March 17, 2o20) we will be open "virtually" from 10am-5pm. You will be able to place orders online, by phone, or text. We can ship orders, or you can come to one of our entrances to pick them up, or we can bring them curbside to your car. With a sense of the surreal and with sadness, for the first time in 30 years, we will not be open for browsing until further notice.
If there is even a tiny bright spot in the confusion and worry of these last few weeks it is an appreciation for our sense of humanity to each other including little kindnesses and gestures of well-being. It is this that will guide us at RJ Julia Booksellers in the days and weeks ahead.
We are here to help and we know we can count on your support and good wishes. Thank you.
Stay healthy and stay in touch. Hopefully soon I can say, see you in the store.
