CHLI ANNOUNCES ‘PILLARS FOR PROGRESS’ TOUR TO EDUCATE, ENGAGE, AND EMPOWER HISPANICS/LATINOS IN WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

-- Grupo Salinas is proud to support activities that
promote a healthy economic future for Hispanic communities --

Washington, D.C. - The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) will hold forums across the country as part of its Pillars of Progress tour. The tour will kick off at the Los Angeles City Club in Los Angeles, California, on August 29, 2017, and continue on to San Antonio, Texas, and then wrap up in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The CHLI Pillars for Progress forums will bring together distinguished civic and community leaders, experts in workforce development and student leaders to discuss educational accomplishments, career strategy and economic advancement for U.S. Hispanics. In particular, the forums will focus on jobs, taxes and regulations, education and financial literacy. “CHLI’s foundation lies in its ability to prepare future leaders, and we could not be more excited to kick off our Pillars for Progress in Los Angeles later this month,” said Mary Ann Gómez Orta, CHLI President & CEO.

CHLI would like to thank our sponsors and partners, our national sponsor Grupo Salinas, Target, MillerCoors, Hispanas Organized for Political Equality, and ¡Adelante! “We are proud to partner with CHLI in Pillars for Progress, a tour that highlights the importance of sustaining a healthy economic future,” said Nathalie Rayes, Vice President of Public Affairs, Grupo Salinas. “Preparing ourselves for the jobs of the future with a strong educational foundation and the elements of financial literacy will ensure a prosperous America.”

Join CHLI as we reach across the country to educate, engage, and empower future Hispanic and Latinos leaders in work force development. For more information on speakers and to RSVP, please visit our website: www.chli.org

Special thank you to our sponsors:
