Why Host a Company Picnic?
The benefits of hosting a company picnic can last well beyond the day of the event. Employers may see this special event as an expense but it’s really an investment in your staff which, of course, is the backbone of your corporation.
Picnics and corporate parties encourage departmental integration regardless of positions, titles, and departments. Unassuming conversations and introductions lead to expanded comfort levels with, and respect for various people’s responsibilities and roles within the company. An employer that shows appreciation will see that it ultimately strengthens communication, builds camaraderie and boosts morale within the workforce.
It’s also an opportunity to share news such as a major announcement, launching a new product or strategy, celebrating someone's retirement or a milestone within the company. it’s the perfect time to relax, de-stress and just have fun. And then return to the office reinvigorated and with a lighter approach to the business at hand.
Innovative Gourmet enjoys a sterling reputation based on over 35 years of experience. From mid-sized to large scale, from BBQ’s to crab feasts, to weddings and corporate events --the IG team has a proven track record in providing flawless events.
All you have to do is tell us when and where (and we can help with THAT too) and we'll do the rest.
No muss. No fuss. We do the work so you can enjoy the people and the party.

The Perfect Summer Snack
Sooo-when you buy a watermelon to make frosé, don't forget to buy a little extra to make this tasty snack to nibble on throughout the week.
Spread the slices out on a cookie sheet so that they're not touching.
Freeze on the cookie sheet for 3-4 hours, until frozen through.
Eat or wrap watermelon popsicles individually in plastic wrap and return them to the freezer where they'll keep for 5-7 days.
NOTE: After taking the slices out of the freezer, wait about 5-7 minutes so they defrost enough to bite into. #YUM
