The mission of KACF is to help empower the people of our planet to work together to save our remaining ecosystems and all of the creatures they contain.

It was established in 2014 to promote endangered animal conservation initiatives worldwide.

You are invited to join us on Saturday, January 26th for "The Bear Necessities."  In this conservation talk, guest speaker Dr. Stewart Breck will discuss incidents of human, black bear and polar bear conflicts and the mitigation strategies that can help to eliminate encounters.

Dr. Breck is a researcher for the USDA-National Wildlife Research Center and his research is focused on carnivore ecology and behavior and minimizing conflict between carnivores and people. Studies include testing non-lethal methods for preventing conflict, measuring the impact of carnivores on livestock, influence of urban environments on carnivore ecology, and population biology and behavioral ecology of carnivores.

Get your tickets here.  Only 40 seats are available for this event.
