Join us for a virtual tasting and conversation with Katie Bundschu, 6th-generation vintner, and Stephanie Summerson Hall, Founder of Estelle Colored Glass, a luxury brand of hand-blown colored glassware. They’ll explore female entrepreneurship and artisan craft, while tasting Abbot’s Passage wines. To be part of this special event, simply register online and purchase the two-bottle tasting pack, which includes our 2020 Redshift Rosé and 2018 Makeshift. If you prefer to skip the pack, you can still participate and enjoy the engaging conversation. Either way, we hope you’ll gather a couple of friends and join us online for this inspiring virtual event.

About the Wines:
2020 Redshift Rosé - A light and fresh rosé with a beautiful soft color. Both complex and simple, it exudes delicate scents of crushed Cranberries, Rose Hips and Violets, with glancing flavors of Mandarin, Dried Thyme and Honeydew Melon.

2018 Makeshift - A delightful blend of Old Vine Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot. Each sip offers flavors of rich black fruit, moderate tannins and brightness for a wine that’s full of character.

Event Details:
Thursday, May 26, 4:30-5:30pm PT | 7:30-8:30pm ET

Meet Estelle Colored Glass - a luxury brand of hand-blown colored glassware in a mix of jewel tones and soft pastels. This vintage-inspired, yet refined and modern, colored glassware is best described as "jewels for your table." The brand was founded by Stephanie Summerson Hall who was inspired by her grandmother, Estelle, who loved antiquing in small South Carolina towns. During the summer Stephanie would join her grandmother on many of her treasure hunts and was smitten with her collection of colored glass, thus sparking a life-long love of these hued pieces.

We look forward to sharing more of the story behind this beautiful brand during our virtual tasting on May 26. Until then, visit our online mercantile to shop an edited selection of pieces from the collection.
