Maya Curtis, Of Counsel, is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Columbia University, Columbia College of Arts and Sciences. Upon graduating from law school, she practiced as a litigator at large law firms in New York, Chicago and Colorado. Using the training she received there, she opened her own law firm where she could work on areas close to her heart -- namely immigration. She assists individuals with a range of immigration issues ranging from temporary immigration, permanent immigration to naturalization. She also offers her services to businesses ranging from medical practice groups to industrial distributors. Regardless of the client, she consistently offers her best efforts to secure the most positive results. Her pro bono work has included the representation of several Guantanamo detainees and she contributed to "The Guantanamo Lawyers," a book compiling the experiences of lawyers at Guantanamo. She has received admission to the New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and Michigan state bars. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Maya Curtis is the owner and principal of her own immigration law practice and is also Of Counsel to Tishkoff Law.
