NSW Supply Chain Support Grants close today at 5pm

A reminder for NSW growers that the $20k Supply Chain Support Grants close today at 5pm. Aquaculture businesses whose properties or aquaculture leases have been affected by bushfires since August 2019 are eligible, including those impacted by ash and fireground runoff.

Some farmers are under the impression they won't get this grant. ALL farmers in catchments affected by fire are strongly encouraged to apply.

The grant has been designed in partnership with industry to address:
  • Impact of ash (clearing baskets / graders / outboards)
  • Damage to leases and hours spent clearing debris & flotsam (clearing debris / removal / tipping fees)
  • Lease repair & infrastructure replacement
  • Stock loss
  • Repair or purchase of shellfish cultivation equipment as critical infrastructure to aid business recovery (eg. stock growing and insufficient gear to grade / thin into - new gear can be purchased with this grant as critical infrastructure to aid business recovery)
The application is fairly straightforward and doesn't take long to fill in, so if you, or any other farmers you know, haven't yet applied - there is still time.
