This week at SOTH

Last Sunday, we lifted up the communal, interdependent, triune nature of God by celebrating in community Jayce Hutson's 8th grade graduation, and Nick Hauk's milestone of entering military service with the U.S. Army in communications. It was a powerful, touching celebration of support, encouragement, and care.

We then made our way over to St. Ann Park and spent a few hours playing (an especially lively game of kickball!), chatting, and eating delicious food. Our thanks to Dave and Sharon Elder for bringing the supplies, and to Mike Toohey for reserving the Pavilion at St. Ann Park.

And speaking of St. Ann Park, Pat Amick, Jeanne Keirle, and John Meyer will be hosting the SOTH table at the St. Ann Food Truck Event #2 this Thursday. We assembled blessing bags to hand out for people to take and share with someone in need. They will also be handing out seed packages and starter plants to folks with the invitation to "Come grow with us". Stop by the table between 5-8 to say hi!

Finally, this coming Sunday, May 29, Pastor Rebecca Boardman from Lutheran Campus Ministry St. Louis will be preaching and leading worship. We welcome Pr. Rebecca and look forward to the message she will bring!

Peace and blessings,

-Pastor Kristen
