This week at SOTH

On Sunday we heard, through the Children's Message, the story of Tabitha who sewed clothes for those in need. We also celebrated the promise of the gospel that echoed through Psalm 139 as well as the texts in John and Revelation. That promise is: God knows us, God loves us, and God will never leave us. May we be even more aware this week of God's knowing and love and presence in our lives.

-Pastor Kristen

P.S. Julie Hutson shared a video of some very wonderful people reading Psalm 139, and I'm happy to be share that link here: Psalm 139 | Read by First Christian Day Services Participants

Monthly Bible Study

Monthly Bible Study got off to a great start last week! If you couldn't make it last Sunday but would like to follow along with the class on your own, contact Pastor Kristen and she can get you connected with the study. If you're interested in subscribing to Gather Magazine (the source of the Bible study), you can email or call 1-800-328-4648

We will continue for the next three months in the book of Philippians. We will meet next following worship on May 8. (I know this is Mother's Day, but feel free to bring your mother along!) We will gather for a short time to get folks going on the next session: Servant-shaped Soldiers.
