Help your patients
with a Dream

Dear Friend,

Many Dreams involve travel, and it’s important to remember that we can only help with such Dreams if the Dream recipient or someone traveling with them has a major credit card or well-funded debit card.

As our Dreams are not all-inclusive, the credit card is needed to cover expenses such as meals and ground transportation, as well as the unforeseen cost associated with a hospital stay and getting home in case of an emergency.

If Dream requests include a hotel stay, a credit card is needed at check-in to cover incidentals. And if a debit card is used for check-in, the hotel will put a hold on the card. Often, the blocked funds will not be released until about a week after the stay. Similarly, to rent a car at the destination, a credit card is essential.

We don’t ask for anyone’s credit card number, nor do we keep such details on file, and we only ask for confirmation of a credit or well-funded debit card to keep the Dream recipients and their loved ones safe.

Patrick’s Dream below was only possible because his mother’s travel companion held a credit card.

As always, if you or anyone has a Dream-related question, you can call our general office number (1-888 4-DREAMS during regular PST time zone office hours) if you’d like to speak with someone or email me at

We’re here to help. And we hope to hear from you soon!

Request a presentation!

Would you like to learn more about who we can help and what we can do? You can request a presentation by clicking the button below.

Together, we will find a date and time for a presentation to 12 or more participants via Zoom, Teams, or Google Hangouts.

Presentations last about 25 minutes, and there’ll be time for your questions at the end.

After being reunited with his mother, Patrick’s social worker said, “Patrick has smiled more with his mom than I have seen while in our care."

A team effort reunited Patrick with his mother before it was too late.

We’ve often seen the lengths you’ll go through to make your patients smile.

Dealing with addiction caused many disruptions in Patrick’s life, and he had been estranged from his mother for 20 years when he was told that his soft palate cancer was terminal. Knowing that he was facing the end, he dreamed of reconciling with her.

Thankfully, his medical team managed to track her down and reconnect them via phone, and we were able to help with flights to actually bring them together so they could heal the rift in their relationship and say their goodbyes.

It's so moving to think about what such a reunion meant to Patrick and his mother and its impact on everyone involved.

Could we help facilitate something so important for one of your patients?

We would love to send you one of our badge holders. All you need to do is email with your name and shipping address and we’ll send your gift to you!
