NT Beaches OPEN for Swimming!

Lifesavers (and lifeguards) are now on patrol in Darwin at Mindil Beach, Casuarina Beach, Nightcliff Beach in Darwin and in Nhulunbuy at Town Beach. For more details on patrol times and locations visit our website (click here). 

The Breakfast Club

Join us for the screening of The Breakfast Club as we flashback to the 80's - enjoy a fun night out night while supporting a great cause. 

Thursday 16 June  -   Movie starts at 7.30pm
Dinner, snacks and drinks available for purchase from 6:30pm (no BYO).

Member Training & Education 

Congratulations to all the members that recently completed their IRB Crew Certificate, IRB Driver Certificate and/or RWC Operator's Certificate. Members from both Darwin & Mindil Beach SLSC took part in the state run course and passed with flying colours.

RWC Re-Qualification

If you have a current RWC Operator's Certificate, did you know that you can get your re-qual for this award by doing water safety at one of our TOPS events. For more information contact SLSNT on 8985 6588 or

Well done to members completing there annual Skills Maintenance at the Darwin Waterfront. Skills Maintenance is designed to keep our lifesaving skills sharp and up to date with the latest information.

If you missed out on Skills Maintenance check with your local club for future dates and remember you need to complete before July 31 to be eligible for competition.
