NEW CARPARK OPEN

The second stage of our carpark is now open for use. In the absence of an updated traffic plan, below is the most recent version with some additional notes.
Obviously the area previously marked as a Construction Zone is the new area for carparking and has approximately 50 vehicle spaces. Initially a couple of spaces will be blocked off as there is still some landscaping work to be completed.
Entry and Exit - note that the access to this area is just past the clubhouse where the bitumen road surface changes to a concrete surface.

The Temporary Carpark is still available for use. Part of this area is still fenced off while construction is ongoing to restore the University carpark spaces.  Vehicles with a cart on a trailer are required to park in this area.

Entry and Exit - note that the access to this area is adjacent to the cart shed.

Please take note. Shearwater Drive is a public road to provide access to the University of Newcastle, Shortland Waters Golf Club and the Aveo Retirement Village.  Parking is not permitted on any part of this road. Doing so puts you at risk of a parking infringement, a traffic infringement if vehicle damage occurs and also your insurance cover. Locations where people have been parking illegally are highlighted and it would be in your interests that you make use of the carpark areas.

PARKING SPACES
There are areas in the carpark defined as "Staff" and "Director" spaces. During the period of Voluntary Administration the directors have no legal standing but are still involved, along with our staff, in maintaining business as usual for your benefit. This involves working with the Administrator, supervising the redevelopment, co-ordinating golf activities, including sub committee meetings, and, at certain times, providing volunteer staffing of the bar.
Now that we have additional parking spaces available it would be appreciated if those few spaces were available for those people to use.
