Mission Statement

Anchored in God’s love, we are a community of believers worshiping in the Reformed tradition, committed to sharing the Good News through Christian education, discipleship, fellowship,
and mission.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING on NOVEMBER 3rd

The Session has called a congregational meeting for Sunday, November 3rd, immediately following the worship service, for the purpose of receiving and acting on the report of the Elder Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee members are Bob Kelly, JoAnn Schutte, and Nancy Vanzandt. They were tasked with selecting two names to place in nomination before the congregation for election to the Session to serve for the next three years beginning January, 2020. The Nominating Committee received several names for consideration, and it took much discussion, discernment, and prayer to make a final decision. The Nominating Committee will be placing the following individuals before the congregation on November 3rd: Dave Rumgay and Mary Margaret MacMillan.
MEMORIAL SERVICE

A Memorial Service for Joan Ponder (Kari’s mother) will be held on November 8, 11:00am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Flatonia, TX. Please keep Kari and her family in your prayers. “In life and in death, we belong to God.”
NANCY EMMERT

We received word that Nancy Emmert passed away on Friday, October 18 after a brief struggle with cancer.  Please keep her family in your prayers.  A memorial service will be held in early 2020.
DEDICATION of LABYRINTH and CELEBRATION of CHURCH ANNIVERSARY

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for a day of joyous celebration! On Sunday, November 3rd, at 11:00am, we will begin worship outside on the Labyrinth. We will dedicate “Jackie’s Garden – For Peace and Prayer,” made possible by Bill Wright in memory of his wife, Jackie. Then, we will process indoors for the remainder of our worship service. During worship, Rev. Barden will share the tale, ‘Postle Jack Wears a Path! After worship, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall and celebrate the anniversary of the chartering of this congregation. It promises to be a festive and important day in the life of our church family. You won’t want to miss it!
Through the Peace & Global Witness Offering, congregations are encouraged and equipped to find and address the anxiety and discord that is prevalent throughout this broken and sinful world.  Thanks to your generosity, PCLT will be sending $515.00 to hep in this worthy cause.
