April 4, 7:30-9:30pm, Wilder 211
Participants will explore the birth of both Jewish and Palestinian national aspirations and their divergent experiences of Israel’s founding, taught in a dual narratives approach. Participants will discuss the ways historical narratives shaped past peace negotiations, how they live on today, and how mutual recognition for these narratives might help pave a path forward. Open to all - come with as much or as little background knowledge as you have.
