Edito : Facing the climate emergency, Sustainable Campus is mobilizing
The numbers are increasingly alarmist: climate change has already begun. For the EPFL Sustainable Campus team, it is time to act on all possible fronts. Between concrete actions, awareness-raising or public policy proposals, small and large actions count.

Act for Change Food : An edition entirely dedicated to food!

From November 12 to 30, the entire EPFL community is invited to participate in Act for Change Food, a 3-week challenge on sustainability issues related to food. 
Sustainable Campus Projects
Act for Change LAB: The call for projects is open (and it's not going to close!) L'appel à projets est ouvert (et ça ne va pas se fermer!) 
The restart of Act for Change LAB, a platform for sustainability projects, was soon noticed in the corridors of the campus. Launched last May, this new Sustainable Campus initiative is beginning to bear fruit and the first concrete sustainable project proposals are coming in.
From market gardener to campus in one clic! 
The Catering and Shops Department and Sustainable Campus are joining forces to offer the EPFL community a free order and delivery on campus for fruit and vegetables, conventional and organic, grown in the region!

Julia Binder: for a sustainable change on the campus
Julia Binder, head of the Tech4Impact initiative at EPFL, wants to strengthen the university's social and environmental impact by empowering students to act as agents of change. She tells us about her background, her dreams and her expectations for a more sustainable campus.
Rehabilitation of the water wall of the BC building 
Built in 2004, the Communications Building (BC) was equipped with a cooling water wall placed on the road retaining wall to the west of the façade. Interrupted in 2013 following the freezing of the pipes, the water wall was put back into service this summer.
Sustainable rendez-vous
PubliBike: new station et re-registration

With around 5,000 active users, the campus's self-service bikes are very popular among EPFL students and employees. To complete the offer on campus, a seventh PubliBike station is now available at Avenue Forel (BS building). To continue using this service, do not forget to renew your subscription via Mycamipro

Shots santé : sports sessions at lunchtime
The Centre de Sport et Santé (CSS) offers 30 or 45-minute sessions at lunchtime. Step by step? Urban training? Sophrology? Relaxation? The themes vary from week to week from sport, relaxation or nutrition. And all shots santé are free... but places are limited!
ElectricEasy leaves the EPFL campus
After six years of loyal service, Electriceasy, the electric car-sharing company, announced the end of operations for early October 2018. As of January 2019, the car-sharing and rental cars offer will be significantly revised to best meet the needs of the EPFL community.
