Editorial : "Sustainable campuses in all countries: unite"
More than 200 sustainability leaders from more than 60 universities on five continents gathered from 11 to 13 June at the KTH in Stockholm to discuss the evolution of sustainable development practices on university campuses. A unique opportunity to learn from and understand the diversity of strategies and policies put in place to apply sustainability on a daily basis in the academic world.

Kick-off of the new sustainable platform for the EPFL campus:
 Act for Change LAB

Sustainable Campus launches a new initiative for the next three years: Act for Change LAB. A4C LAB is a platform-laboratory of ideas that gives students (and collaborators) on campus the opportunity to design, develop and realise a sustainable idea, project or initiative.

Cyclist coaching
Supervised by a professional, free cycling coaches are organized during the month of June to explore different cycling routes, from home to campus. Three types of routes starting from Lausanne, Morges, Renens and Prilly.
All the world's Sustainable Campuses in Stockhom 
More than 200 participants from all over the world gathered in Stockholm on 11-13 June for the annual conference of the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN), founded more than 10 years ago by ETH Lausanne and Zurich, which now brings together nearly 100 universities on five continents.

Gardens bloom at EPFL
Following the successful launch of the Farmer Campus project on North Square, two more vegetable gardens were opened on campus this spring. They are located  in the inner courtyard of the MX buildings and behind the Château de Bassenges respectively.

Mélodie Rey : from PotaGR to the Silicon Valley
Mélodie Rey is a 2nd year student in the section Environmental Sciences and Engineering. Since her arrival on the EPFL campus, she has been committed with conviction and enthusiasm to the development of projects related to urban agriculture on campus. In just a few months, these projects have taken her from the vegetable gardens in front of the GR building to the Silicon Valley!
