NOT BANKSY
SAVES THE WORLD

Despite the potential damage to their lack of integrity, the New Not Banksy Realisation has temporarily abandoned their Neo-Nihilist Nothingist Agenda to do something Positive.

At the request of their friends at Gallery DNA in Japan they have made a new print in support of an animal charity run by the gallery.
Our friends in Japan called for assistance. Local cats were being abused and being mistreated. They reported a cat covered in oil and decided something must be done to help.

They said “The cat is not our enemy. Why harm it?”

The rat says “Our enemy is NOT your enemy. Let it be. Live in peace with all things. Also the insects, the flowers, your fellow humans… and please consider a kind thought for us much maligned rats. The best way to defeat an enemy is to make a friend of your enemy, so let’s all live together.”

With this in mind, the new work features a RAT on a placard with the following words in Japanese:

FAKE NOT BANKSY
NOT FAKE BANKSY
BANKSY NOT FAKE
FAKE BANKSY NOT
NOT BANKSY FAKE
NOT     NOT     NOT

Or words to that effect.
(We think.)

The print comes in two editions:

Signed, numbered and stamped by the New Not Banksy Realisation on the back
