Newton Press Conference & Workshop in Salerno, Italy
|
|
Dear <<First Name>>,
The NEWTON Project was introduced in Salerno at an official presentation in June of this year. Two schools in Salerno, the "G. Da Priocida" and the "Santa Caterina Da Siena-Amendola", are among the 15 European schools collaborating with the Newton Project on the enhancement of e-Education.
The project was well received at the presentation, being hailed as “an intelligent project initiative, positioned at the correct level of intervention: not too theoretical or too technical", and as “a very interesting opportunity to upgrade schools' methodologies and technologies of innovation stage”.
Present at the events were Salerno's Mayor, Vincent Naples, and Vice Mayor, Eva Avossa. Also present were councilors, teachers, professors and NEWTON partners QUI! and Beyond, as well as representatives of media and press.
