NFF Resources to Support RN/RM Families During Covid-19
During COVID-19, we understand that there is an added layer of pressure on our community. Below are some of our latest projects to support you through this difficult time:
Homeport (Spring '20) Update
Because of delays to the distribution of the Spring edition of Homeport, and the print date of the Summer edition, caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the closing date for the Readers Offers has been put back to Wednesday 10 June. The pandemic has also meant that the rugby ticket and Beat Retreat ticket offers have had to be withdrawn as all these events have been cancelled. Read the latest edition here.
NFF Gains an Immigration Advisor
We're thrilled to announce the NFF are now regulated by the OISC to give qualified and timely immigration advice to Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel and their family members, and other supporting agencies.

We are looking to update the visa and immigration pages on our website. Education Support Fund (ESF) 2020
The ESF provides funding to publicly funded schools, Academies and Free Schools throughout the UK to help children from Armed Forces families and schools to overcome the effects of exceptional mobility or deployment. Service parents are encouraged to raise awareness of the ESF at their child(ren)’s school(s).
The 2021 ESF bidding round opened on 1st June 20. Find out more about the grant here.
Forces Communities Together programme This programme will award small grants of up to £10,000 towards creative and engaging projects, that can be delivered under social restrictions, for people from Armed Forces communities who are isolated as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Application deadline: 30th June, 2020
Military Coworking Network (MCN) - Survey
The MCN is an initiative of over 1,000 military spouses who are working together to support and help each other maintain their careers. Please help the Network by filling in this short survey - your experiences and comments will be used to shape the MCN and make sure they create something that supports everyone.
Naval Service Family & People Support (NS FPS)
In response to the current national situation and in support of Royal Navy and Royal Marines families during this very challenging time, the NS FPS Portal have extended its opening times. The Royal Navy forum also contains information to support Service personnel and families.

(Scotland) Your Minds Matter!
RCET, Scotland’s Armed Forces Children’s Charity is announcing the development of a brand new service supporting Armed Forces young people across Scotland with their mental health. The charity plans to recruit young people to help develop the service from September to create a digital well-being tool that can help support any Armed Forces child across Scotland with their mental health and resilience.
