New Year's Eve
Words From Pastor Craig

How odd are human customs! Is this a night for revelry, dancing and partying that the old year is gone, and we are looking to the future?

What would New Year’s Eve look like if no one were allowed to gather in Times Square?

Shall we make resolutions, if so, resolving to do what?

Once, when traveling, I discovered that in parts of Africa there are no calendars, no comprehension of years passing. Instead on Christmas Eve, everyone stays up until Midnight, then goes outdoors to bang pots and pans, to alert the world The Christ has come into the World!

Can we celebrate the end of COVID19, at least that it has lost its deathly sting? Can we resolve to be more gentle and accepting of one another? Can we resolve to listen and compromise?

What are your New Year’s Resolutions?

Pastor Craig
