Fixed in Place: Six Exhibitions at the Lexington Art League
The recent exhibition cycle at the Lexington Art League featured the work of six very different artists. Yet there was an underlying interest in the photographic image that connected the works of these artists. Joel Darland explores this connection in his review of these seemingly solo exhibitions.

Our plans remain in place for Critical Mass IV on Saturday, March 14, from 1-3 with a reception to follow. We will post any changes due to late-breaking developments in the management of the Coronavirus on our Facebook page,
www.facebook.com/Undermain/.

At UnderMain we pride ourselves on the excellence and accessibility of our writing. This is a credit to the great corps of contributing writers and several are highlighted in this newsletter. We are looking to add to our corps with writers who are able to do occasional pieces for UnderMain. We pay for all content. We are looking for writers with the background and experience to do reviews and previews of:
  • Visual art exhibitions in Lexington Metro, Louisville Metro, Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati and around the region;
  • Classical, avant garde, experimental, and jazz music performances within the same region as above; and
  • Literary works by Kentucky authors or works that pertain to Kentucky including fiction, nonfiction, graphic works, and poetry.
Interested writers should send a resume and copies of three original relevant pieces to UM@under-main.com.
