Dear Neighbors

Thanks to everyone who attended our recent Town Hall in Evendale, and ANY of our past events.

YOU are the reason we continue fighting to preserve the safety and integrity of our homes, neighborhoods, schools and churches!  You may not realize it but your presence reinvigorates our efforts, and encourages us to keep going.  So THANK YOU!

If you weren’t able to join us, we’ve included here is a link to the ICRCTV cable access schedule of the meeting.  (Not available in all communities.)

We're writing to follow up on a few key points:
1. Please remind your friends and neighbors that their voices are critical to this process.  Every person who gets involved increases our chances of having an impact!  Encourage them to come to the Public Hearing this Thursday, June 15 to testify. (See Hearing Information for Details/What to Bring)
2. Don't forget to begin preparing your own personal testimony, and be sure to include your story, the personal risk you are facing and the incongruity that creates with the supposed "need" communicated by Duke. (See What Should I Include in My Testimony? for info)
3. Ask the OPSB & Adjudicatory judge to conduct a deeper, more rigorous analysis of the Duke's application, particularly in the area of NEED and ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT.
4. Keep an eye on your e-mails to stay up on the latest information and ways you can contribute.  One such opportunity exists tomorrow at 1 pm, as we host a “Pop-Up” Outreach Event to make one final push before Thursday’s hearing:
NOPE "Pop Up" Community Outreach Event
Blue Ash Summit Park - 4335 Glendale Milford Rd
1:00 PM Sunday, June 11th

“Pop” in to pick up materials, then plan to pass them out at your convenience on Sunday and Monday to local residents and businesses!

We’ll provide materials, instructions and maps – then plan to grab a friend and walk the routes to help inform our neighbors on Sunday and Monday and encourage others to testify!
Finally, check out our new and improved mapping app.  Our new simulation model provides evacuation time in the event of a major pipeline failure.  It also includes information about burns, a major concern if a high pressure natural gas pipeline ignites.  (Note this is a simulation model, actual results would vary.)
