Welcome to March, Academy members!

This month's workshop theme of Alignment is designed to help us move past the stagnation of winter and into the possibilities of spring. With the suggestion of a slower-moving practice incorporating Yin or Restorative sequences, you'll find the oil and blend selection the perfect compliment for helping students truly feel the oil value.

How are you choosing to align your own actions in your doTERRA business, with your goals for the year?

Are you finding the opportunity to implement what you are learning through the Academy materials?

Are you having success enrolling as many team members with your workshops as you had hoped?

Aligning your intentions and actions to get the results you desire is part of this month's e-News and ZOOM call message ---offering ideas to help you improve your results at, and after, your workshops.

Enjoy this issue with tips and ideas, including a webinar I recently recorded, and oils suggested for 5th chakra balance plus more!

Find Your Passion, with Yoga & Essential Oils
I wanted to share the concept I recently  online class co-taught with one of my Silver team leaders, Stephanie Richins, about the Passion blend and its use for yoga & life!

Chakra Balancing with Essential Oils

For the next few months, we will continue to explore the use of doTERRA essential oils to activate or balance chakras and our energetic being. This is an interesting approach to use with yoga students or your home practice.

This month, our focus is the throat chakra/5th chakra or Vishudha.

Centered. Content and peaceful. Free expression and communication. Truthful.

Aligning our thoughts with our actions and words is the sign of a balanced 5th chakra, where we can express what we think and feel easily. It begins as we determine our truth, then communicate it with gentle compassion and honesty to others.

The 5th chakra is about self expression directed internally via creative thought and identification of one's life purpose, and externally in outward communication to others. As we come to peace with who we are, what we think, and use our ability to share that with others, our 5th chakra helps us balance all other chakras as well.

Out of balance, the 5th chakra can manifest as being timid or shy, being unreliable or conflicted about beliefs and purpose.

Using essential oils to assist in balancing the 5th chakra, combined with yoga poses that open the throat area sch as Warrior I, Fish pose, Lion pose, Shoulder stand and Plow, allow the throat to open and constrict.  Apply a few drops of doTERRA essential oils to the throat area before practice and witness the opening that may occur.

Teaching a class about oils? Oils & yoga? or Yoga to a new group...keep these great oils and blends in mind to support you in communicating your truth!
Single Oils: Basil, Black Pepper, Cilantro. Clove, Coriander, Cypress, Ginger, Frankincense, Eucalyptus, Jasmine, Lavender, Rose, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang.
Blends:  Clary Calm, Passion, Whisper.

These ideas from Enlighten may also be of interest:
Primary indications of imbalance: False, beating around the bush, “story telling”, speaking from the head while lacking connection to the heart. Poor boundaries, inability to say “no,” push-over, taking on other people’s issues, oversensitivity to others influence and ideas.

Positive qualities following transformation: Speaking from one’s heart, ability to radiate soul warmth, integration between left/right brain.  Ability to set limits and boundaries, resolute, inner strength, taking a stand for what one believes, choosing one’s own path.
I'm often asked how to increase the number of enrollments resulting from workshops.

Similar to all doTERRA events we hold, there are many factors to your success.

Generally speaking, most of us LOVE organizing and co-teaching EssentialYoga Program workshops, but sometimes when we put all of our effort on finding a yoga teacher & location, planning a successful workshop, marketing the workshop and the actually DOING the workshop---we forget to integrate the same messaging into our Yoga workshop as we do in all our other Essential Oil 101 workshops, which is to INVITE people to join us in using doTERRA oils in their own home.

This week on our ZOOM call (Wednesday, March 8) I'll be talking specifics on this topic.  For now though, I wanted to share a few  "closing tips" from doTERRA Presidential Diamonds who have been very successful in building huge teams. I think their ideas are VERY applicable if you make some adjustments to fit YOUR style. Try weaving them into your next workshop.

Either read and download Teresa Harding's "How to Close a Class" script and-or watch Diane Shepherd's "Basic Steps to Closing a Class" webinar below. Always a good refresher to sharpen our skills and improve our outcome!
