Each year PCL kicks off Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) Recognition Week with our annual community picnic.  Celebrating the people we support, DSP's and the communities we work and live in. This event brings together hundreds of our friends and family to celebrate and recognize those that help bring our mission to life every day of every year.
During the program, we honored team members celebrating their milestone anniversaries of 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.
We also gave out awards to community members who are acknowledged for their dedication, commitment and support to the people served by Partnerships in Community Living.

BHS Pharmacy

BHS Pharmacy is an amazing PCL partner. Continuously delivering the highest quality of service. They are flexible, excellent communication and always show up with a smile.  Thank you BHS for being great supporters of PCL's mission and always finding new and improved ways to serve PCL and the people we support.

Mark Caryl

Mark Caryl is a big supporter of PCL and the Job Launch Team. He has helped people we support find jobs at Culbertsons’ Cleaning.  Due to Mark’s experience of working with Job Launch and the people we support, he has been a resource for other businesses thinking of hiring people as well.  He is always willing to lend a helping hand and seems to have endless energy.  Like at the 2019 PCL Golf Tournament when we was there before the sun was up and stayed for almost 12 hours. We greatly appreciate you Mark!

Maryssa Reynoso

Maryssa Reynoso has been volunteering at PCL’s Prisms Gallery and Studio in downtown Salem for just over a year, helping with workshops, the Salem Art Walk and hosting workshops. Maryssa also dedicates her time at the Steampunk Ball event, a fundraiser that benefits Prisms Gallery. Maryssa does this all on top of working and going to school full time!

We would also like to thank all of the delicious food trucks that came out to serve food at this event: Greek Lightening, Los Primos, That Food Guy, and Beal's Ice Cream and Treats.

Thank you to 8-Balls band who are always a delight to listen to.

Thank you to Sweeny Promotions who embroidered all of the gifts given to milestone anniversary recipients and to EDCO awards who made all the awards and were really easy to work with.

Also a huge thank you to everybody who came out to volunteer. This picnic would not have been possible without your hard work!
