How are you?
I hope you are doing well and that you are enjoying the holiday season.  The year is almost over and looking back I would like to send you a little update about my life and work as an actor in New York City.  Currently I’m touring with the one-woman show "Carnival of Souls: neon animation + live action" around the Big Apple. More about that below.
 
Today it is more important than ever to build a strong community.  This is my way of reaching out to you and I invite you to please write me back and let me know about what you've been up to.  I am very grateful for the artistic NYC community that I have been part of in the past few years. I couldn’t have done it without you and all the people that I met in my life regardless of how brief our interaction has been. Thank you!

• had my first role in a SAG-AFTRA feature film with Bruce Dern and Lena Olin;
• had a large role in Yangtze Rep’s production of Romulus The Great at The Barrow Group Mainstage Theatre;
• performed in many readings of new works at The Actors Studio, Prism Stage Company, Origin Theatre Company, TheaterSounds, St. Luke’s Theatre, Theatre for the New City, and WorkShop Theater;
• was approached by neon animator and screenwriter Jack Feldstein to co-develop and perform our one-woman show Carnival of Souls: Neon Animation + Live Action. Upcoming performances on December 29 & 30, 2018 at Sitting Shotgun in Brooklyn and January 17, 2019 at Dixon Place in the Lower East Side;
• did a fantastic live radio interview with Progressive Radio Network about my life and recent work on Carnival of Souls, did an interview with the Dutch Consulate about the show, and earlier this year I was interviewed by NJ Discover and interviewed by the Dutch Radio station AmsterdamFM about my life and work in the US;
• was enrolled in the Fall 2018 Playwriting Masterclass taught by Kate Moira Ryan at the New York Theatre Workshop. I am currently writing my first full-length play Einstein’s Little Secret. I hope to announce the first public reading in the spring of 2019;
• studied the teachings of Konstantin Stanislavsky and other Russian theater artists with Aleksey Burago at the Russian Arts Theater and Studio;
• enjoyed my first full year of SAG-AFTRA membership in which I have benefited tremendously from the classes and workshops they offer at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.
