No. 3   September 2016
This Bulletin provides details of our first research report - investigating how the community infrastructure levy is working for neighbourhood planners across the capital. There's other news and we say farewell and thank you to one of our founder volunteers.
Our first research report published - The troubling relationship between CIL and neighbourhood planning has been a recurring theme during the creation of Neighbourhood Planners.London. We've reviewed the position and made recommendations to Mayor Khan, London Councils and central government to address the issues. Copies have gone to all London boroughs. Read our report here.
Community Planning afternoon - Join other neighbourhood planners and community groups at this free Planning Aid/Locality event on the afternoon of 6 October. Our very own Angela Koch is speaking for Neighbourhood Planners.London. The event is free but you need to book.
Updated MAP and LIST - We have updated the Neighbourhood Planners.London MAP and LIST and added new areas. It's great to have feedback that the map is being used to get in touch with other neighbourhood planners. Do let us know of any errors, updates or omissions. Find the MAP and LIST at our website.
Next event - We are planning a major conference in January/February 2017. Thanks for all the ideas for what we might cover and do keep sending them in. If you have an affordable (aka free) venue we could use for small meetings and get togethers then do get in touch.
Farewell to Lily Woo - Lily is one of the founder volunteers of Neighbourhood Planners.London and the architect of our special MAP. As she returns to Hong Kong we want to thank her on behalf of all neighbourhood planners across London for all she has done to get things off to a flying start.

Neighbourhood Planners.London exists to support neighbourhood planners in London and raise the profile of neighbourhood planning in the capital.  Support us by offering your time or making a donation.  You can find out more on our website, contact us by email or get involved on twitter using the links above.
This Bulletin is produced by Tony Burton on behalf of Neighbourhood Planners.London - we welcome feedback & please let us know of any errors
