The 2018 Allen D. Williams Scholarship Award


Nominate your young professional today! 


Deadline is this Monday March 6th, 2017! 

This prestigious annual award serves as an incentive for Young Professionals to get involved with their respective Consulting Engineering Industry Associations to advance the priorities identified by these organizations. In the process they enhance their knowledge of industry issues and advance their own professional development.

Why You Should Enter

The winner has the opportunity to register for the FIDIC Young Professionals Management Training Program – fall 2017 (starts January 2018) and will receive up to $5,000 to attend the 2018 FIDIC Conference in Berlin, Germany. There, they will attend sessions geared towards young professionals in the industry while sharing their experiences with young professionals from around the world. 

FIDIC is the international organization for consulting engineers. The FIDIC Conference is a premier annual event bringing together consulting engineers from around the globe. 


How it Works

To be nominated as a potential candidate, submissions must be made by a Senior Partner or Principal to an ACEC Member Organization, summarizing the candidate's involvement and/or contribution to industry initiatives. 


The Scholarship

Since 2009, the Allen D. Williams Scholarship Award is bestowed to a young professional who has demonstrated leadership qualities in their involvement with or contributions to the advancement of the consulting engineering industry. The winner will be selected based upon the criteria outlined in the Allen D. Williams Scholarship Award Eligibility Criteria.
